Create Something That Exists Nowhere Else!
Some jewelry makers collect every tool they can find, while others create their own custom tools. That creative freedom is what makes jewelry making such a fascinating craft. It's more than simply turning an idea into reality. The jewelry you create can be worn, treasured, and passed down for generations. Imagine creating a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry entirely with your own hands. Why not discover the joy of making something truly unique?
One of the easiest and most beginner-friendly techniques in jewelry making is Wax Carving. Using a special jeweler's carving wax, you'll shape your design with carving tools and files, gradually bringing your ideas to life. One of the greatest advantages of wax is that mistakes are never permanent—you can simply add more wax and reshape it as many times as you like. Unlike many traditional jewelry-making processes, wax carving requires very few hazardous tools or chemicals, making it a safe, low-risk craft that is easy to continue at home. Its accessibility is one of the reasons it has become so popular with beginners.
◻︎ About the Workshop ◻︎
This workshop is designed for anyone who:
Is interested in jewelry making
Wants to make the most of some free time before meeting friends
Is already visiting the Sakae area and would like to try something new
Whether you're simply curious or have always wanted to try jewelry making, this beginner-friendly workshop offers an enjoyable introduction to the world of wax carving. No experience is necessary, and all tools and materials are provided—just come as you are. Please note that the metal casting process, which transforms the finished wax model into metal jewelry, is not included in this workshop. The class is also designed to help you continue creating at home at your own pace, with practical techniques and tips that make it easy to keep practicing after the workshop. To ensure personal instruction and a relaxed learning environment, class sizes are kept small. This creates a welcoming atmosphere where participants can ask questions freely and enjoy the creative process together.
